Our Deadbolt Left Hand Faceplate is made so they are compatible for left-handed doors with a mortise lock. With a slight slope going down to the right side, this faceplate will be compatible with any left handed door that is equipped with a deadbolt mortise lock. These mortise lock faceplates are also known as lock plate covers. They help to protect your mortise lock from further damage, acting as a substitute ‘cover plate’ for your inset lock. With the right faceplate for your mortise lock you can prevent possible future vandalism and extend the life of your mortise lock significantly (if on a heavy traffic door). These are great for any commercial storefront, are extremely affordable and very easy to install. We have faceplates that are available in both aluminum and duranodic finishes.
